Welcome to the GMA Educational Academy website. By accessing or using our website, registering for our programs, making a payment, or communicating with us through our online platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Our Services

GMA Educational Academy (“GMA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a K-12 homeschool academy, after school enrichment program, and summer camps located at 509 Garnet Ct, Suite 300, Gallatin, TN 37066. Through our website and online platforms, we provide information about our programs, accept registrations and payments, and communicate with current and prospective students and their families.

2. SMS Messaging Program

When you submit a form on our website and check the consent checkbox, you may opt in to receive SMS/text messages from GMA Educational Academy. Our messaging program includes:

• Registration confirmations — confirming your enrollment, camp week, or consultation
• Reminders — reminders before scheduled consultations or program start dates
• Follow-up messages — messages after consultations or inquiries about enrollment
• Account updates — information related to your enrollment or scheduling
• Urgent notifications — weather closures, pickup changes, or matters involving your child

Message frequency varies depending on your enrollment activity and interactions with our school. Typically, you will receive 2–6 messages per registration.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all SMS messages sent and received. GMA Educational Academy is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

3. SMS Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or enrollment. You are not required to opt in to text messages to register a child, enroll, or use any of our services.

4. Carrier Liability

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier and network availability. GMA Educational Academy is not responsible for messages that are not received due to carrier issues, device incompatibility, or changes to your phone number.

5. Age Restriction

Our SMS messaging program is intended for users aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and manage SMS communications on your behalf. Parents and guardians who register children for our programs are the consenting party for any related SMS communications.

6. Website Use

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You may not:

• Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
• Transmit any harmful, threatening, or offensive content through our forms or communication tools
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from our website without permission
• Submit fraudulent enrollment information or fraudulent payment information

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of GMA Educational Academy or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

8. Enrollment, Bookings, and Scheduling

Program registrations and consultations made through our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions, classes, or camp weeks due to staff availability, weather, holidays, minimum enrollment thresholds, or other circumstances. If we cancel a scheduled session, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance via email, SMS, or phone, and will refund or credit any prepaid amounts for sessions cancelled by us.

For summer camps specifically, a minimum number of students is required to run a camp week. If a camp week is cancelled by GMA due to insufficient enrollment, you will be offered a refund for that week or the option to move to another available week.

9. Payment Terms

By submitting a payment on our website, you agree to the following:

• Authorization to charge: You authorize GMA Educational Academy to charge the total amount displayed on your registration to the payment method you provide as a single transaction at the time of submission.
• Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your payment card information is submitted directly to Stripe and is not stored on our servers. Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy apply to your payment transaction. Visit https://stripe.com/legal and https://stripe.com/privacy for details.
• Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL): If you select Klarna, Affirm, or another BNPL provider at checkout, GMA receives the full payment amount today. You agree to repay the BNPL provider on the schedule you agree to with them. The BNPL provider conducts its own credit decision and manages your installment plan directly. GMA is not a party to your BNPL agreement and is not responsible for its terms.
• Currency and taxes: All amounts are in U.S. Dollars. Applicable sales tax, if any, will be added at checkout.
• Returned payments: If a payment is reversed, charged back, or otherwise returned by your bank or BNPL provider after a successful transaction, you remain responsible for the amount owed plus any fees charged to GMA by the payment processor or bank.

10. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Summer Camps: Once a camp week is selected and paid, there are no refunds and no credits for missed sessions or missed camp days. You are responsible for all weeks selected on your application whether or not your child attends. As a courtesy, if your child is sick GMA may move a camp date to another week if availability allows — no other credits or refunds will be given. If GMA cancels a camp week (e.g., for insufficient enrollment), you will be offered a refund for that week or the option to move to another available week.

After School & Homeschool Programs: Registration fees are non-refundable. Weekly tuition and ongoing program fees are subject to the cancellation terms agreed upon at enrollment. See our Tuition Policies page for complete details.

Drop-In Days: Once paid, drop-in days are non-refundable but may be rescheduled subject to availability if GMA staff agrees in advance.

11. Limitation of Liability

Our website and online services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. GMA Educational Academy is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the website, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Participation in our after school, homeschool, or summer camp programs is governed by separate enrollment paperwork including liability waivers, medical authorizations, and parent agreements signed before your child begins. Those documents take precedence over these website Terms with respect to in-program activities and risks.

12. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including your phone number and SMS consent data, and how we work with payment providers including Stripe. We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sumner County, Tennessee.
